Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of jolt.is and joltco.co (the "Site"). They're written to be readable, but they're still the legal agreement between you and us. By using the Site, you agree to them.

In these terms, "Jolt Co.," "we," "us," and "our" mean Jolt Companies, LLC, a Texas limited liability company doing business as Jolt Co. "You" means anyone who visits or uses the Site.

1. Accepting these terms

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

2. Who can use the Site

The Site is intended for people who are at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where they live. By using it, you confirm you meet that requirement.

3. Using the Site

You may use the Site for lawful purposes and to learn about Jolt Co. and our work. You agree not to:

• Use the Site in a way that breaks the law or infringes anyone's rights
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or connected systems
• Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Site through automated means without our written permission
• Introduce malware or any harmful code
• Misrepresent who you are or your affiliation with any person or organization

We may limit or end your access to the Site at any time if you misuse it.

4. Our content and brand

Everything on the Site — including copy, design, graphics, the Jolt Co. name, the lightning-bolt mark, logos, and other brand elements — is owned by Jolt Co. or used with permission, and is protected by intellectual property law.

You may view and share links to the Site. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, or use our content or brand marks for commercial purposes without our written permission.

5. Anything you send us

If you contact us through the Site — for example, through our chat widget or by email — you're responsible for what you send. By sending it, you give us permission to use that information to respond to you and to provide our services, consistent with our Privacy Policy.

Please don't send confidential or sensitive information through the Site before we have a written agreement in place. Casual messages through a website aren't a secure or confidential channel.

6. The Site is information, not an offer

The Site describes who we are and the kinds of work we do. It is for general information only. Nothing on the Site is an offer, a quote, or a promise to provide services, and using the Site does not create a client relationship.

Any actual engagement with Jolt Co. is governed by a separate written agreement (such as a proposal, statement of work, or contract). If anything on the Site conflicts with that signed agreement, the signed agreement controls.

7. Third-party links and tools

The Site may link to or include tools and services run by others — for example, our live chat provider. We don't control those services and aren't responsible for their content, practices, or availability. Your use of them is subject to their terms and policies.

8. Disclaimers

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available." We work to keep it accurate and running, but we don't guarantee that it will always be available, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that the information on it is complete or current. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Jolt Co. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of your use of — or inability to use — the Site. Where liability can't be excluded, our total liability relating to the Site is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold Jolt Co. harmless from claims, damages, and reasonable costs arising out of your misuse of the Site or your violation of these terms.

11. Changes

We may update the Site and these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll update the effective date at the top. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute relating to the Site or these terms will be handled exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas, and you agree to that jurisdiction.
